Before you start using your Payza Prepaid Card at home or abroad, we would like for you to know how to keep your card–and the money on it–safe, especially if your card gets lost or stolen.

We link your Payza Prepaid Card to your Payza account, which enables you to access anytime our security features to prevent unauthorized use of your card. Whether you’re at home or traveling the globe, night or day, weekday or weekend, you can log in to your Payza account to:

  • change your card’s PIN (personal identification number);
  • transfer funds from your card to your Payza wallet; or
  • report your Payza Prepaid Card lost or stolen.

Here we provide practical “how-to” steps to keep your Payza Prepaid Card and the money on it safe.

image 1The first step that will protect the money on your card is to create a secure PIN. You need to enter this PIN to complete purchases and to withdraw funds from an ATM. So, keep your PIN private and never share it. If you notice any unrecognized transactions on your card or you suspect someone may have access to your PIN, change it immediately online:

  1. Log into your Payza account
  2. Click on Wallet, then Prepaid cards
  3. Select Manage card, then Reset PIN

Remember: your prepaid card PIN is different from your Payza account’s transaction PIN.

  1. Log in to your Payza account
  2. Click on Wallet, then Prepaid cards
  3. Select Manage card, then Transfer from card

There is no charge for transferring funds back to your account from your card, so never hesitate to make this transfer.

Remember: If you haven’t reported your card as lost or stolen and are positive your card is once again safe, you can transfer funds from your Payza wallet back onto the card.

  1. Log in to your Payza account
  2. Click on Wallet, then Prepaid cards
  3. Select Manage card, then Report Lost or Stolen

Remember: once you’ve reported your card lost or stolen, Payza will stop all card transactions and then investigate and reverse any fraudulent transactions made with your card.
