Funds Can Now Be Added Instantly and Directly From Bank Accounts via INTERAC
LONDON and MONTREAL–(Yahoo Finance via Marketwired – Jun 26, 2013) – Payza, one of the leading payment platforms worldwide, announced today the addition of a new feature that allows Canadian members to transfer funds instantly from their bank account to their Payza accounts with INTERAC Online. The new “Add Funds by INTERAC Online” service, which is utilized by Canada‘s large network of financial institutions, will be added to Payza’s suite of payments and disbursements solutions immediately available to Canadians.
The service is not only extremely convenient, but more affordable than credit card transactions. Customers can load their accounts by transferring money from their Canadian bank account to their e-wallet for a flat rate of $1.50 CAD per transaction of up to $500 CAD. In addition, avoiding the use of credit cards provides a heightened level of security for Payza members since sensitive personal data is not transmitted.
“We’re excited to be supporting INTERAC Online,” said Ali Nizameddine, Chief Technology Officer at Payza. “The INTERAC network is almost universally adopted in Canada and is supported by every major bank. All of our Canadian members, already very familiar and comfortable with this service, will now be able to take advantage of the convenience of using INTERAC from within their Payza accounts.”
The new feature also marks a new strategy for Payza. The company is planning services that are geographically specific in the markets it serves worldwide. “There is no question that money is universal,” Nizameddine added. “But there is no ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to the availability of financial services and products. Offering tailored services to each region will not only be a strong competitive advantage for us, it will also provide the most relevant services to the markets in which we operate.”
